Old European cut diamonds are bead set in a scalloped top in 1940s princess style diamond engagement rings like this one. The 14k yellow gold band of this engagement ring is topped with 14k white gold. A scalloped cluster of fourteen old European cut diamonds surround a round brilliant cut diamond. This centerpiece diamond is G-H in color, SI1 in clarity, and weighs 0.32 carats. The combined weight of all the diamonds accenting this princess style engagement ring is 0.67 carats. Circa 1940.
