This antique emerald ring's showstopper is its beautiful step cut gemstone, which weighs approximately 8.94 carats, is VVS2 in clarity and slightly bluish green in color. Showcasing the geometric emerald gemstone to perfection are 44 round full cut and single cut diamonds, which rim the emerald's entire outer band and lend brilliance to the overall ring. In total, these VS clarity and H-I color diamonds weigh approximately 0.65 carats. The shank of the platinum setting is enhanced with a woven criss-crossing pattern that lends visual interest to the satin finished band. Antique platinum and emerald rings like this one appeal to any jewelry lover who prefers gemstones on the sure-to-get-noticed bold side. Circa 1940s.
