Like an explosion of shooting stars, this Mikimoto Southern Cross pearl brooch lends a burst of radiance. Set in sterling silver, this Mikimoto pearl brooch depicts the Southern Cross constellation. In a cross-shaped design, five star-tipped rays extend from this brooch's center. Each of the stars is accented at the center with a spherical silver white pearl. A K. Mikimoto trademark attests to this brooch's lineage. Circa 1950
